Our Mission Home / About Us / Our Mission Our Mission Our mission is to help every child build a strong academic foundation using the learning principles of the French Ministry of Education. As part of a global network of accredited French schools, we welcome students from all backgrounds and nationalities. Our curriculum, taught by native French teachers, inspires our students to achieve academic success while building global awareness and respect for cultural traditions. We focus on fostering the skills and character needed to thrive in today’s complex world. Our structured and purposeful lessons help our students feel confident and capable as they grow. Through individual activities and group projects, our students become independent and creative thinkers. By introducing French in a clear and engaging way, we prepare children to master the language with excellent pronunciation and fluency. Our values focus on helping them become thoughtful, confident, and active participants in the world. Our Values Pursuit of Excellence We inspire our students to use their talents and grow as unique individuals. We encourage them to try new things and take on challenges, even when they feel unfamiliar. This helps our students learn who they are and sparks their curiosity about what is next. By including art, music, drama, technology, and exciting field trips in our curriculum, we give them a well-rounded view of many subjects. They build confidence, independence, and motivation to explore the world and their future. Learning Environment Our warm, inviting spaces lead to concentration, a sense of safety, and calm in the classroom. For our youngest learners, purposeful activities are placed at eye level to allow for play and exploration. Outside play structures are age-appropriate, giving our students the freedom of movement. Our classrooms stimulate learning. Walls are decorated with historical posters, poems, artwork, and maps. Tables are set up to display science projects and sculpture. Classrooms have computers for research or code development. Outside acres of space allow our students to run, play sports, and explore. Support and Collaboration Through circle times and classroom projects, our teachers help students share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas. This creates a supportive place where children feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves. Working in groups, both with classmates and older students, teaches them important skills like being kind, patient, and self-aware. Parents can see teamwork in action during exciting events like our science fair, sports day, choral performances, robotics exhibits, and math and reading challenges. These showcase how our students learn to take turns, listen carefully, and support their friends. Respect As an international school, we welcome families from all over the world. We teach our students to respect and understand other cultures and ideas. Through lessons, customs, and celebrations from around the world, students learn about life beyond their own experiences. Our goal is to create a classroom space where everyone feels included and appreciated. Partnership with Parents We value our relationship with our parents. We believe that when parents are involved, it creates a stronger bond between home and school. It also helps them know what happens in the classroom each day. Our teachers regularly share updates about academic goals, ways to improve, and homework expectations for our elementary students. While parents are not expected to help with homework, offering encouragement and support helps children feel confident as they tackle challenges. Innovation We believe that our students need opportunities to explore, experiment, and solve problems to prepare for today’s world. Through hands-on projects, they learn to set goals and figure out how to reach them. For example, they might work together to program a robot or figure out how to take apart and put together a bike. Our teachers and staff are always updating activities that they choose, making sure to use the latest technologies in education.
